How to measure an equinox

 How to measure an equinox

I firmly believe that as a teacher/facilitator of Yahuah's Word, I shouldn't just tell you, "if you're following this calendar (The Covenant Calendar) that our year begins on this date, and this is when the Feasts are, etc."

I feel that you should be shown HOW to do it for yourself, because a good teacher doesn't want you to rely on their interpretation of His Word, but they should want to teach you how to feed and equip yourself with His Word.

I'm going to attach some video links and pictures for visual purposes to make things easier.

Thanks to our brother and fellow teacher Jose Pasarell for his knowledge and input on this subject.

What is an equinox?

An equinox is a point where the SUN moves in a northerly direction and crosses the equator, this occurs TWICE per year with the Vernal Equinox in the "Spring" and the Autumnal Equinox in the "Fall."

These two occurrences on a perfect solar calendar would give us exactly 360 days, with 180 days between the two occurrences, but the reason that we're on an imperfect 364-365 day calendar is that Yahuah Himself caused the sun to move backward 10* degrees on behalf of King Hezekiah.

This occurrence is recorded in Isaiah 38:1-8, with a second witness in the Book of 2 Kings 20:1-11.

I will attach a couple of video links for further explanation on this subject of what we call tequfah in Hebrew, and the balancing days that we have at the end of our current calendar.

On a perfect 360-day calendar the two equinoxes would mark the beginning of the year (Exodus 12:1) and Yom Teruah or Feast of Trumpets which occurs on the first day of the 7th month according to Leviticus 23:24.

The earth is a circle, just like a clock, it has 360 degrees, therefore wouldn't it make sense that the perfect calendar would indeed have 360 days?

The two equinoxes give us a chance to re-calibrate where we are on our count throughout the year.

Psalm 90:12 says "So teach US to number OUR days, that WE may gain a heart of wisdom."

This is why I feel so passionate about empowering you on how to know and see these things for yourself, because if the grid were to go down how would you know what day you're on in order to keep the Feasts?

Step 1. Get a flat surface and test it to make sure it's level.

Step 2. Find due East and make sure it's lined up exactly.

Step 3. Watch - starting earlier in the morning on the day of the equinox you make a mark on the surface every hour, all throughout the day until the shadow goes off of your surface and the shadow can no longer be measured.

On the day of the equinox, the point of the shadow will go exactly in a straight line.

In the teaching videos below, we show various diagrams and examples of how the shadow will have a curve to it (even a very small curve) on any other day besides the two equinoxes.

We also explain the changes in the height of the sun throughout the year, from extremely high in the sky during the Summer Solstice, to extremely low in the sky during the Winter Solstice.

Our hope is that reading this and watching these videos has been beneficial and uplifting to the Body of Messiah, and that you feel better equipped to know how to know when your New Year begins for yourself.

If you have any questions, please feel free to comment below.

Shalom and blessings in Yahuah

Psa 19:1  The heavens are proclaiming the esteem of Ěl; And the expanse is declaring the work of His hand.

Psa 19:2  Day to day pours forth speech, And night to night reveals knowledge.

Psa 19:3  There is no speech, and there are no words, Their voice is not heard.

Psa 19:4  Their line has gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them He set up a tent for the sun,

Psa 19:5  And it is like a bridegroom coming out of his room, It rejoices like a strong man to run the path.

Psa 19:6  Its rising is from one end of the heavens, And its circuit to the other end; And naught is hidden from its heat.

The Spring Feasts of Yahuah

 - The Spring Feasts of Yahuah -

For those of you who choose to follow the same Covenant Calendar that I have studied and chosen to follow, these are the dates for the Spring/Summer Feasts this year.

April 3rd is Pesach/Passover celebrated in the evening, per Exodus 12.

The very next day begins the Feast of Unleavened Bread (April 4th - April 10th) when the children of Yisrael began to sojourn out of Egypt after the death angel passed over them.

In the midst of the Feast of Unleavened Bread is The Feast of First Fruits, which is also called the Wave Sheaf. This Feast is to take place on the morning after the Shabbat after Passover according to Leviticus 23:11.

This Feast of First Fruits is an important marker because it begins our Omer Count to Shavuot, which takes place 50 days and a total of 7 weeks after the Wave Sheaf.

How do we come up with these dates?

We begin our New Year with the first day after the Vernal Equinox or Tequfah.

Our calendar is a solar-based calendar, which has a total of 360 days.

According to Exodus 12:6-14, we are to partake in Passover on the 14th day of the 1st month between the evenings.

Following this date, the next day is the 15th day of the first month which would begin the Feast of Unleavened Bread Exodus 12:15.

FAQ's about Passover:

1. Do I have to be physically circumcised in order to partake in the Feast of Passover?

    - The short answer is no, but rather a circumcision of the heart is required.

    - If you would like a further and deeper answer, please see this Youtube teaching entitled

"Covenants of Promise Part 1"     https://youtu.be/bAD4Ki7YKQI

2. Do we actually take a lamb on the 10th of the month and then slay it on Passover?

    - No, Yahusha/Jesus was and is our Final Sacrifice.  The Passover was a foreshadowing of The Lamb of Yahuah Who takes away the sin of the world.

    - No further sacrifice is needed.

3. Do we actually have to eat lamb?

    - No, again we are remembering and reminiscing on the Passover, we are not re-enacting the actual Passover that occurred in Exodus 12.

     - We partake of the Bread and Wine, which represent His Body broken for us and His blood that was shed for us.

4. What do we do for Passover?

    - It's a Feast! Have a party and celebration, it's a great opportunity to invite believers we would call Christians to partake in the Passover and an opportunity to explain the Biblical importance of it.

    - Have a dinner or meal, before the actual Passover Service.

    - Read through the story of  The Exodus (12-15)

    - Read through John 13-17

    - Read through 1 Corinthians 11:17-34

    - Examine yourself, break up the hard fallow ground in your heart.

    - Partake in the Bread and Wine together, and wash each other's feet.                                                                - Couples wash each other's feet, Singles: men with men, women with women.

    The Feast of Unleavened Bread

    - For 7 days you eat bread without any leavening agents in them, as a reminder of His Body broken for us and in the grave for 3 days and then risen to life once again.

    The Feast of First Fruits

    - Bring an offering, a sacrifice of the praise of your lips

For the Omer Count to Shavuot, Stephanie and I will be doing our third or fourth-year reading through the Psalms daily.

The example we follow is like this:

Day 1 - Psalm 1, 51, 101 (Day 1 begins April 9th)

Day 2 - Psalm 2, 51, 102

Day 3 - Psalm 3, 51, 103, etc

By Shavuot, you will be on Psalms 50, 100, and 150

Shabbats:

Passover is not a Sabbath, but the book-ends of the Feast of ULB are, the first day and seventh day, which in our case would be April 4th and April 10th.

Lastly, let me say this, there is not a "perfect way" to keep the Feasts especially while we're in exile in Mystery Babylon so please relieve yourself of that pressure and anxiety as we approach and instead just ENJOY the opportunity of keeping the Feasts.

When the oceans rise... 3/8/2023

When the oceans rise

I woke up from a brief dream this morning just before 5:30am.  In this dream, I was driving over a long bridge over an ocean bay.

I began to suddenly notice how high the water was getting, as it seemed to be very close to the level of the bridge. (It was a short bridge, not a tall one)

I kept driving as well as the other drivers until suddenly I hit a part of the bridge that was under standing water about 1-3 feet deep.

I slammed on the breaks to stop before going into the deeper water and then I woke up.

When I woke up, I immediately thought of the song "Be still and know You are God."

The lyrics go like this: "When the oceans rise and thunders roar, I will soar with You above the storm."

Father, You are King over the flood, I will be still and know You are God!"

Luk 21:25  “And there shall be signs in the sun, and moon, and stars, and on the earth anxiety of nations, in bewilderment at the roaring of the sea, and agitation,

Luk 21:26  men fainting from fear and the expectation of what is coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.

Isa 43:1  But now, thus said יהוה, your Creator, O Yaʽaqoḇ, and He who formed you, O Yisra’ĕl, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name, you are Mine.

Isa 43:2  “When you pass through the waters, I am with you; and through rivers, they do not overflow you. When you walk through fire, you are not scorched, and a flame does not burn you.

I'm not posting this about the dream, but about the peace, I felt as I woke up with the song "Still" in my head.

Shalom and blessings

The spirit of fear

The spirit of Fear

2Ti 1:7  For Yahuah has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Fear:

Definition of fear

 (Entry 1 of 2)

1aan unpleasant often strong emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger
b(1)an instance of this emotion
(2)a state marked by this emotion
2anxious concernSOLICITUDE
3profound reverence and awe especially toward God
4reason for alarmDANGER

For a lot of us, this will be a tough pill to swallow to admit that WE have been operating in a spirit of fear, even though we're not wearing masks, practicing social distancing, getting tested, or taking un-proven "v@666ines."
How so? Let me explain.
Until about 3-4 months ago since March 2020 I wasn't really living anymore, I was just waiting for the End to come completely focused on the crap hitting the fan in the coming Apocalypse and fall of Babylon.
It utterly consumed EVERYTHING I did, every post I made was about it.
I am not saying that we should not have been calling people to repentance and warning them about The Mark of the Beast, but I posted so much about the enemy's movements and plans that I was no longer seeing what Yahuah (God) was doing.
I believe that we should be physically prepared with extra food and means to defend ourselves and our families if the need should arise, but I believe most of all that we should be preparing Spiritually with extra oil in our lamps.
I released a video a few months back about "Exposing" the enemy or being exposed to him and his demons, and the context of Ephesians 5:11, it wasn't a very popular video because it's so addicting to keep our eyes distracted and focused on something else besides the King of Kings and Master of Masters, but I released it in obedience regardless of its popularity.
I haven't been on Facebook as much as I was before because I'm focusing on ministering to Stephanie and the girls and pouring the wisdom and knowledge that Yahuah has given me into them, but these last couple of weeks being off work and moving have made me more aware of what's still happening.
I've honestly had to "snooze" some of you because you too are operating from the spirit of fear, instead of the Holy Spirit, your pages are flooded with what the enemy is doing and not what Yah is doing behind the scenes and what He is speaking.
Let's take an honest look at the two sides of this same coin:
Are we operating in the same spirit as those who are wearing masks?
Sheeple:
- Fears a deadly "virus" and its numerous variants
- Wears a mask or any other "face covering" to stop the spread
- Believes and does everything they're told by a person of "authority" through the media.
- Waits in line for hours with other people to take a test to see if they have this deadly virus.
- Takes experimental drugs and treatments as a cure to prevent them from dying.

Truther:
- Fears the NWO and its numerous variants
- Wears a "mask" mentally, and emotionally, portraying a different person than they actually are on social media platforms.
- Believes, "likes," and shares everything that they're told from alternative media outlets and the internet.
- Spends hours and hours online with other people talking about the deadly virus (how fake it is), making fun of those wearing masks, mocking them instead of loving them.
- Just like the NWO we see them as a number a statistic instead of as the living soul that Yahuah created them to be, do we weep for those who are lost to the Lake of Fire?
- We too take experimental drugs, drugs of Facebook, Twitter, IG, YouTube, Bitchute, Tik Tok, Rumble, etc all to try to find a "cure" for the deadly disease within us: Our own sins and fear of death.
We do everything that we can to help to try to prevent the NWO from taking over as if some natural means could ever stop the Creator of the Heavens and Earth's prophetic clock from ticking.
We are truly becoming what we're beholding, but the question is WHAT are we beholding? Just like Peter, we have a choice to make, will we focus on the storm going on all around us OR keep our eyes locked with our Messiah which enables us to overcome the storm and walk on the water.I can only speak for myself and what I have experienced and the feelings that I have felt since March of 2020, but I think if we all took an honest examination we would all see the same thing: That WE were or maybe still are operating from a spirit of fear.We fear what the NWO may or may not do to us. We fear where we will sleep, eat, and wear. But what does the Scripture have to say about these topics? Have No FearMat 10:26  Therefore do not fear them. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known. Mat 10:27  "Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops. Mat 10:28  And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Mat 10:29  Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father's will. Mat 10:30  But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Mat 10:31  Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. Mat 10:32  "Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. Mat 10:33  But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven. Do Not Be AnxiousMat 6:25  "Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Mat 6:26  Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Mat 6:27  Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? Mat 6:28  "So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; Mat 6:29  and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Mat 6:30  Now if Yahuah so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Mat 6:31  "Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' Mat 6:32  For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. Mat 6:33  But seek first the kingdom of Elohim and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Mat 6:34  Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Php 4:19  And my Elohim shall fill all your need according to His riches in esteem by Messiah יהושע.Php 4:4  Rejoice in יהוה always, again I say, rejoice! Php 4:5  Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Master is near. Php 4:6  Do not worry at all, but in every matter, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to Elohim. Php 4:7  And the peace of Elohim, which surpasses all understanding, shall guard your hearts and minds through Messiah יהושע. Php 4:8  For the rest, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is righteous, whatever is clean, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good report, if there is any uprightness and if there is any praise – think on these. Php 4:9  And what you have learned and received and heard and saw in me, practice these, and the Elohim of peace shall be with you. Do not worry, do not be anxious, do not fear, be strong and courageous in the Spirit of our Messiah. The Whole Armor of GodEph 6:10  For the rest, my brothers, be strong in the Master and in the mightiness of His strength. Eph 6:11  Put on the complete armour of Elohim, for you to have power to stand against the schemes of the devil. Eph 6:12  Because we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against authorities, against the world-rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual matters of wickedness in the heavenlies. Eph 6:13  Because of this, take up the complete armor of Elohim, so that you have power to withstand in the wicked day, and having done all, to stand. Eph 6:14  Stand, then, having girded your waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, Eph 6:15  and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace; Eph 6:16  above all, having taken up the shield of belief with which you shall have power to quench all the burning arrows of the wicked one. Eph 6:17  Take also the helmet of deliverance, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of Elohim,1 Footnote: 1Isa. 59:21. Eph 6:18  praying at all times, with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, watching in all perseverance and supplication for all the set-apart ones; To live by Faith is to live without doubt. The Battle is for our souls, and the Battlefield is for control of our minds. Let us have our minds set on the things above, not on the things below. Put On the New SelfCol 3:1  If, then, you were raised with Messiah, seek the matters which are above, where Messiah is, seated at the right hand of Elohim. Col 3:2  Mind the matters above, not those on the earth. Like Daniel spoke of, we must do great exploits for our Elohim and occupy until He comes.Dan 11:32  “And by flatteries he shall profane those who do wrong against the covenant, but the people who know their Elohim shall be strong, and shall act.Dan 11:32  Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits. Are you a person who knows their Elohim/God? If so, be strong and carry out great exploits! Jos 1:6  “Be strong and courageous, for you are to let this people inherit the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. Jos 1:7  “Only be strong and very courageous, to guard to do according to all the Torah which Mosheh My servant commanded you. Do not turn from it right or left, so that you act wisely wherever you go. Jos 1:8  “Do not let this Book of the Torah depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you guard to do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and act wisely. Jos 1:9  “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, nor be discouraged, for יהוה your Elohim is with you wherever you go.” Even if we do indeed become martyrs, martyrdom is not the End death is only the beginning and this is how we overcome. Rev 12:11  “And they overcame him because of the Blood of the Lamb, and because of the Word of their witness, and they did not love their lives to the death.Read the end of the Book, the meek inherit the Earth but the proud and wicked ones will be swept away in Judgment. Dan 7:27  ‘And the reign, and the rulership, and the greatness of the reigns under all the heavens, shall be given to the people, the set-apart ones of the Most High. His reign is an everlasting reign, and all rulerships shall serve and obey Him.’Do not fear, be like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Dan 3:16  Shaḏraḵ, Mĕyshaḵ, and Aḇĕḏ-Neḡo answered and said to the sovereign, “O Neḇuḵaḏnetstsar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. Dan 3:17  “For if so, our Elah whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning furnace of fire and from your hand, O sovereign – He does deliver! Dan 3:18  “But if not, let it be known to you, O sovereign, that we do not serve your elahin, nor do we do obeisance to the gold image which you have set up.” Know that if you are thrown into the fire, there's Another in the fire there with you.Dan 3:24  Then Sovereign Neḇuḵaḏnetstsar was amazed, and stood up in haste and spoke and said to his counselors, “Did we not throw three men bound into the midst of the fire?” They answered and said to the sovereign, “Certainly, O sovereign.” Dan 3:25  He answered and said, “Look! I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire. And they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of Elah.”
