- The Fig Tree -
He has weighed us in the balances, may we be not found wanting...Daniel 5:27
This is what I am hearing this morning, please put it to the test:
This past 12 months (unsure of when it began) was a judgment and examination process.
Some fig trees he examined and saw that they bore no fruit, so He spoke a curse upon them (Matthew 21:18-22, Mark 11:12-23)
Some He examined the fruit for the past three years (Could be a reference to the Rev 12:1 sign that occurred now 3.5 years ago) but fertilized them and watered them one last time to see if they would indeed bear fruit. (Luke 13:6-9)
Now, this is the final word He has given me on this:
"I come to harvest some, and I have spoken a curse upon others, that they may NEVER bear fruit again, but spiritually wither and die, but know this, I am examining ALL."
Now, He has me running a word search for "fig tree" throughout the whole Scripture, and it's very interesting.
“Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. Mark 13:28 & Matthew 24:32
